From the moment we walked in, we couldn't believe this space. The views, the quality, the attention to detail was just amazing.
Staff and service were also top notch.
The location is safe and secure and just minutes from all that Tamarindo has to offer.

Krissia and the Five Star Staff made our stay an incredible experience. From finding us the right house, to accommodating our party size it was so easy from start to finish. They arranged all of our excursions, adjusted to last minute requests and every experience was exactly what we were hoping it would be. We will definitely be back and only working with Five Star in the future.

From a house perspective we couldn't have been happier with Casa Mas Tardes. It was spacious yet we could all be together on one level with the pool when we wanted to hang out. When people wanted privacy the bedrooms and TV room were well spread out. Incredible house, with an unreal view that we enjoyed every morning along with perfect sunsets every night.

Great Home. Harder location cause of the Hills in that Area. Casa Mas Tardes. House was great. Pool was smaller than we thought but still served its purpose. If you have larger amounts of people staying the living room space had furniture that was less than desirable size wise. Best gathering space was a TV room down a level without the views. Five Star staff was great. Always responsive and willing to help. Had some communication issues about golf carts, but it worked out. Golf carts are an issue at this property. Hills are too steep.

Overall we are happy, but much prefer other properties we have stayed at with Five Star.

Regarding the location, Casa Mas Tardes does sit in a hillside area, which offers beautiful views but can present some access challenges. We’re sorry to hear there were issues with the golf cart rental. Not all vehicles are suitable for the terrain, but our concierge team is always happy to assist in arranging the most appropriate transportation options—whether that’s a specific type of golf cart, ATV, or vehicle—to ensure a smoother experience. We also understand that each property offers a different experience. As your stay fell during high-season dates, availability was more limited, and we’re sorry your preferred villa was already booked at that time. Our experience with five start luxury Tamarindo was absolutely excellent. The house was incredible and the pool was magical. Everything was clean, beautiful and honestly better than imagined. Our whole family loved the experience. The home was top-notch - everything worked perfectly. We had gorgeous sunsets and an amazing family vacation. Highly recommend.

Casa Mas Tarde was a perfect place to call home for our family of 16. The rooms were of a generous size, in beautiful condition, the house was well equiped and the location was spectacular. The staff who cleaned the house, garden and pool were lovely and did a splendid job. We were happy with every aspect of the house and the people of Five Star Tamarindo. We recommend it heartily.

We originally booked a beachfront home but due to issues beyond Five Star Property Managements control we chose this property. We were not disappointed except it wasn’t on the beach. Everything about this house was perfect. Great WiFi, very clean, stunning views and the security in this gated development was the best. Didn’t even worry about locking up our cash and passports. The refrigerator dispensed filtered cold water and the property also has an ice maker. Each room had a separate ductless AC unit which kept the huge house cool along with fans. The pool area was so wonderful with plenty of shade and comfortable chairs. The kitchen was almost stocked better than my own home with all of the plates, cookware and utensils. Water pressure was excellent for showers. One of the best things about the location on top of the development was the wonderful breezes all afternoon and the sunsets were spectacular. Another big plus was the large grocery store at the entrance to the development. There were also restaurants in the shopping center if you didn’t want to go into town. Would highly recommend. And finally Marijke and Krissia from Five Star Management went above and beyond to make our experience the best we could have hoped for.
